Exporting/Importing Internet Explorer Favorites
On the Original System
- In Internet Explorer, click File then Import and Export
- On the Import/Export Wizard screen, click Next
- Select Export Favorites and click Next
- Select the Favorites you want to export and click Next
- In the “Export to a File or Address” section, click the Browse button and select a location in your personal H drive folder. Keep the default name of the export file as Bookmark.htm. Then click Next
- On the final wizard screen, click Finish
On the New System
- In Internet Explorer, click File then Import and Export
- On the Import/Export Wizard screen, click Next
- Select Import Favorites and click Next
- In the “Import to a File” section, click the Browse button and select the Bookmark.htm file located in your H drive folder. Then click Next
- Click Next again and then Finish to complete
