Install Office 2007
Estimated Installation Time: 30-45min
*IMPORTANT* Make sure you close ALL Office programs BEFORE installing Office 2007
To install Office 2007 or update your current installation (Office 2003 and earlier) do the following:
- Under the START menu click "Control Panel".
- In the Control Panel window, double-click "Run Advertised Programs".
- In the Run Advertised Programs window, highlight "Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 English - Office 2007 (User)" and click "Run".
- After a short time the Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 installation progress window will open. From here you can monitor the installation progress.
- When the installation is finished, click "Close".
- When prompted click "Yes" and your computer will reboot.
- IMPORTANT! When your computer comes back up and you've logged in, RUN WORD BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE! Answer the questions it asks then you're welcome to close Word 2007 (this is a simple workaround to a potential configuration problem). Now you can open Outlook 2007 or any other Office 2007 application.
- Congratulations, you've completed the Office 2007 installation!
