
Creating an Archive Folder(PST)
- Open Outlook. Click File->New->Outlook Data File
- On the New Outlook Data File window, use the default setting and click OK.
- Select a secure location that is regularly backed up (e.g., H:\USERNAME) to store the file. Then in the File Name field, type in a name for the file and click OK.
- On the Create Microsoft Personal Folders window, type in the name you want the folder to display in Outlook and click OK.
- Now you should see the Archive
Folder listed in your Outlook folder directory. Depending
upon how you want to organize your archive folder, you can either drag all
items for archiving to that folder or create subfolders under it and move
the items in them.
