Excel 2003: Security Options
Encrypting a workbook
- Click Tools->Options.
- On the Security tab on the Options window, type a password in the Password to open field and click OK.
- You will be prompted to verify the password. Enter the password again. Please note OCP Tech has no way of unsetting this encryption so please remember your password.
Protect Sheet
- Click Tools->Protection->Protect Sheet.
- On the Protect Sheet window, select the options you want users to have and type in a password. Click OK. Confirm password and click OK
